René Café, on the corner of Plaza Catedral, is family run and owned and offers a wonderful tasting or prix fixe menu. You have just one choice to make and then you can relax and let the kitchen surprise you with mixture of local and international dishes. From ceviche served in fried plantain, to Panamanian tortillas with a special filling, to homemade ravioli or mango filled wantons, you will enjoy the delicious surprises. René Café is a good option for vegetarians and can host parties of up to 30 with advance notice. They also offer a children's menu.
